Imogene Brown Stone of Roswell, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, TN, died Monday, April 25, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Ruby Brown and sister of Barbara Jean Morrow.  She worked in Washington D. C. for the I.R.S. for many years and taught school in the city of Atlanta for 27 years. She won many state and national teaching awards. She loved her dogs, was an avid stamp collector and life long student of theology. Mrs. Stone is survived by her daughter, Beth Stone Nix, Ph.D. of Smyrna, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Beth Stone of Barnesville, GA; granddaughters, Kristen Stone and Rik Lane of Macon, GA, and Meredith Stone of Atlanta, GA; sister, Ruby Dean Few of Murfreesboro, TN; and eleven nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27th, Father George Alexson officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, TN. Those desiring may make donations to the Atlanta Humane Society or to St. Joseph?s Hospital. A. S. Turner & Sons
