Inez G. Ogburn, widow of Lucius B. Ogburn, died Tuesday morning at Fountainview Nursing Home in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Camden, SC, on August 10, 1912 and lived there her entire life. She graduated from Camden High School in 1929. Upon completion of business school in Columbia, she worked for Kershaw County Health Dept, now the Dept. of Social Services, for 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden and, until confined to her home, was active in the traveling group at the church and the Pilot Club. She also volunteered with the Pink Ladies at the Kershaw County Hospital. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth G. Ahlquist of Braselton, GA., formerly from Avondale Estates, GA., niece, Adele Ahlquist Long, Braselton, GA., niece Janet Lewis Crites of Charleston, and nephew Ernest Ahlquist, Decatur, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, Camden, SC 29020.
