Inge Renfroe was born in Kusel, Germany, and moved to the United States at the end of World War II. Once settled in Georgia, she began working in real estate at a time when women were few and far between in the field. Inge, however, had true talent as a realtor and was one of the first women to win the Phoenix Award for excellence in real estate from the Dekalb Board of Realtors. Inge then went on to establish Executive Relocation with her business partners which was eventually bought out by another large Atlanta real estate firm. Inge had two sons, Tim and Tony Renfroe, and was happily married to Gerald Vrzal. She enjoyed supporting the arts locally and beyond. A master gardener, her home garden boasts beautiful and unusual varieties of flowers and plants, meticulously planted and cared for by Inge herself. Loved by many for her open heart, varied interests, and commitment to the personal spiritual journey, Inge will be remembered as an intelligent and beautiful person, both physically and spiritually. A celebration of life and memorial service is planned for Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Mary Gay House in Decatur at 2pm. Donations to your local humane society in Inge's memory are appreciated. A.
