Irene Stradley

STRADLEY

Mrs. Irene Stradley, age 93, died Sunday, February 6, 2005.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther G. Stradley and sons, David L. Stradley and Arthur D. Stradley.  During World War II, she contributed to the war effort by making bombs at a sheet metal company.  She is survived by her daughters, Rosa Lou Donaldson of Alpharetta, GA, Virginia Grady Evans of Forest Park, GA, & Mary Lucile Connell of Mableton, GA; sons, John L. Stradley of Loganville, GA, George A. Stradley of Forest Park, GA, & Robert L. Stradley of Villa Rica, GA; sister, Florence Brown of East Point, GA; a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Danny Henderson officiating.  Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons
