Jacalyn Mary Schremmer

Jacalyn Mary Schremmer, age 58, of Atlanta, June 7, 2008 at her residence.  Born March 14, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert Joseph Schremmer; brother, Robert Jacob Schremmer; and daughter, Cecilia Smith.  She is survived by her loving mother, Josephine Krhovsky Schremmer; brothers, Lawrence (Mariam) Schremmer, James (Rhonda) Schremmer, Richard Schremmer; sisters, Jayne (Gerald) Martin, Judy Perkins, Betsy (James) Cothron, Suzanne (Robert) Seigenthaler; sister-in-law, Patty Schremmer; 16 nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion and loving dog, Bruno. Jackie received her M.S. degree in Chemistry from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and worked many years as a research chemist.  She was an employee at Recreational Equipment Inc., while attending Georgia State University in pursuit of her degree in nursing.  A memorial service and internment of ashes will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:30am at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 1790 LaVista Road, Atlanta, GA 30329.  Donations in memory of Jackie may be made to The Nature Conservancy.
