Jack Douglas Hunter, III passed away on October 16, 2005 at the age of 39. He was a resident of Tucker, GA and the owner of Accuracy Sitework of Georgia, Inc. He was a native of Decatur, GA. He achieved the level of Eagle Scout with Troop 175 of Decatur. Doug is survived by his two children, Chris and Brooke Hunter of Snellville, GA; father and mother, Jack and Mary Anna Hunter of Monticello, GA; sister, Eloise Thompson of Cumming, GA; uncle and aunt, Chris and Bonnie Hunter of Ottway, NC; uncle and aunt, Alva and Fran Byrom of Alpharetta, GA; aunt, Melinda Hunter of Columbus, GA; aunt, Sandi Byrom of San Antonio, TX; cousins, Neil Hunter of Columbus, GA, Dan Hunter of West Hartford, CT, John Byrom of Missouri, Ann Piirainen of Colorado; and niece and nephew, Taylor and Nick Thompson of Cumming, GA. He also leaves behind many friends who can only describe him as a great friend and a good man. He will be missed and forever loved by those he leaves behind. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 20th, Dr. Rev. Chester Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
