Jack Randolph Prater

Mr. Jack Rudolph Prater, 81 of Loganville, died on November 19, 2011. Jack was born in Chattanooga, TN to Bonnie Hayes and George W. Prater. He went on to graduate from University of Georgia with a Masters degree in Education. In 1951 he married Melba Glen Williams, his high school sweetheart and remained married for 59 years. Jack is predeceased by his wife Melba and son Mark Prater. Survivors include three daughters; Jean Henderson, Angie Fawaz, and Jane Haislip, sister Joyce Little, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. FL 17 , Chicago, IL 60601. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 22, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons.
