James C. Nash. Jr., age 79, of Decatur, GA passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was preceded in death by parents, Lillie Mae Ashworth and Carlton Nash. He is survived by his wife, Sara Dunnahoo Nash; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Andrew Ricks of Jefferson; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Christie Nash of Snellville; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Harold Pressley of Stone Mountain; sister, Joyce Hendricks of Stone Mountain; grandchildren Paul Ricks, Morgan and Reagan Nash. James was a long time member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, usher and Sunday school teacher. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. James was a self-employed Masonry Contractor in DeKalb and Gwinnett Counties. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Womack officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rehoboth Baptist Church or the Rehoboth Cemetery Fund c/o Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2997 Lawrenceville Hwy., Tucker, GA 30084. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA.
