James Conrad (Jim) Platt, Iii

Mr. James Conrad "Jim" Platt III, 63, of Sarasota, FL passed away on Friday December 2, 2011. Jim was born in Atlanta, GA to James Conrad Platt Jr. and Myra Warren Platt. He graduated from Darlington School, Rome, GA in 1966 and West Georgia College, Carrolton, GA in 1972. He was the owner of Healthy Living, a health food store in Avon Park, FL. Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Myra. Survivors include his father, James Conrad Platt Jr.; brother, Hal Platt; sister, Meme Wilder and her husband Brown Wilder; seven nieces and nephews; and Dr. Tom Warren, and his wife Angie and their son Erik. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons on Friday December 23, 2011 at 11:00 am with Dr. David Naglee and Bishop L. Bevel Jones officiating. The graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm in Alta Vista Cemetery, Gainesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at A.S. Turner and Sons
