James Eugene Couch

James Eugene Couch Jim, 78, died Tuesday December 30, 2014 from complications of Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer. He was born on May 31, 1936 in Gadsden, Al to the late Carlos Eugene Couch and Rosella Elliott Couch. Jim was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U. S. Air Force from 1954-1957 and was retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Helen Milledge Couch of Tucker GA, a sister Brenda Couch Garner, and a brother Frank Couch, both of AL. In lieu of flowers, donations, in his memory, may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute, 1365-C Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta GA 30322, or to the Agnes Lee Chapter UDC®, 2111 Deer Ridge Drive, Stone Mountain GA 30087. Visitation will be held at A.S. Turner's and Sons in Decatur from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, January 4, and will be followed by a 4:30pm graveside service at the Decatur Cemetery. A. S.
