CMSgt James Joel Ivins, age 61 of Stone Mountain passed away peacefully
on April 5, 2014 surrounded by his family in his home. He was born on August 5, 1952 in Crawford, NE to James Rush and Gloria Ruth Ivins. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air National Guard Unit 165th. James worked as a Paralegal for the Department of Defense. Surviving is his wife, Roxanne Ivins of 43 years (September 4, 1971); 3 daughters, Tracie (Chad) Everett, Brandy (Michael) Wright, Darci Ivins; 5 grandchildren, Marissa, Tanner, Tyler, Evan and Piper. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of A.S. Turner on Saturday, April 26, 11:00 am. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
