James Lawrence Crowley

James Lawrence Crowley ("Jim") passed away on the afternoon of April 19, 2023. Jim was born to his father, John James Crowley, and his mother, Susan Krajewski Crowley, in Tampa, Florida on Christmas Eve 1954. He is survived by his dedicated wife, Marcia Marie Crowley, his proud son, John James "Jay" Crowley, 30 (Catherine Pierson Crowley), his precious grandson, Clayton Phelps Crowley, 4 months, and of course his beloved dog, Baylee. Jim was the oldest of seven brothers and sisters: Mary Crowley Kempton (David), Patricia Crowley Driscoll (Michael, deceased), Tracy Crowley (Thersea), Christopher Crowley (Holly), Robert "Bob" Crowley (Kim), and John "Chip" Crowley (deceased). He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

After the family moved around all over the country, they finally settled in the Atlanta area, where Jim attended St. Pius X Catholic High School before attending the University of Georgia. Jim had a gregarious personality with a big laugh, which helped his success in the sales world. He loved to entertain people. He was a loving husband and an admiring father, who always supported his son in whatever he did. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, much to his Auburn grad wife's chagrin (especially the last two years). He enjoyed live music and woodworking. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephens the Martyr Catholic Church in Lilburn, Georgia.
