Mr. James M. ?Jim? Adams of Stockbridge died May 2, 2005. He was a veteran of Korea and Viet Nam serving in the U. S. Army for 20 years. He was a member and Pastor Emeritus of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Adams was a broker with Adams-Tabor for 20 years and a certified appraiser for Adams & Associates. He is survived by his wife, Marianne M. Adams; sons, Gary Adams of Buford, John Tabor, Chris Tabor of Forest Park, Dwayne Adams, Jonesboro, Jeff Tabor Hampton and Bryan Adams of Stockbridge; daughters, Patty Adams of Stockbridge, Allison Batchelder of Jonesboro; a sister, Joanne Maddox of Duluth; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1 p.m. Friday, May 6th, Rev. Mike Bassett officiating Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery with full military honors. Those desiring may send contributions to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 1793 Cedar Grove Rd., Conley, GA 30288. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons
