Mr. James Roy White, age 87, of Decatur passed away on Monday April 30, 2012. Mr. White was born in Palmetto, GA and lived there until he proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked with Haskins & Sells for 14 years and retired from Ingle-White & Company after 22 years. He was a member of the American Institute of C.P.A.'s, Georgia Society of C.P.A.'s, and the Institute of Management Accountants. He was member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and the Graydon Sunday School Class. After retirement he was on the campaign committee for Senator Sam Nunn for 10 years. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Jane Langley White of Decatur; daughter, Suzanne White-Junod and husband, John, of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Christine and Carter Junod; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 5th at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Oak Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louis Miller officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church. The family has requested that those desiring send contributions to the Mobile Soup Kitchen at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 1722 Oak Grove Rd., Decatur, GA 30033. A. S.
