James Wesley Starnes

James Wesley "J.W." Starnes, 86, of, Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday January 6, 2013. he was born in Snellville, Georgia to James and Mae Starnes. J.W. retired as a Barber after 45 years in Decatur. He is proceeded in death by his wife Emma and grandson Stephen. J.W. is survived by his son, Ricky Starnes; son and daughter-in-law Danny and Debbie Starnes; grandson Christopher; sister Charlotte Dunagan; and his brother, Tommy Starnes. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday January 8th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Don Wade and Rev. Phil Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Reaching Out Foundation, P.O. Box 870747 Stone Mountain, GA 30087 or to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00-9:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
