Janet Elaine Cavender

d. January 1, 1753

Janet Elaine Babb Cavender, of Stone Mountain went home to heaven early Sunday, July 17th, 2011 after a courageous and hard fought battle with a short illness. Janet was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 30th, 1961 to Marion L. and Rena Babb. She was a graduate of Columbia High School and attended Ga Perimeter College. Janet was a loving Wife, Mother, Homemaker and never met a stranger: person or animal. Her heart was wide open to all she came in contact with. Being a dedicated believer in Christ, Janet was a long time member of Pine Lake Baptist Church. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Ronnie Cavender; Daughters, Jessica and Amanda; Son, Christopher; Grandson Tristan, Brothers Jeff, Charles, and Lester along with countless loving and dedicated relatives and friends. Services Celebrating the Life of Janet will be held Thursday, July 21 at 1:00pm; Visitation will be from 6-9pm Wednesday, July 20 and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday. Private Internment will be at a later date.
