Janet Louise Rega

Mrs. Janet Louise Rega, age 73, of Decatur, Ga. went home to Glory Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Janet enjoyed talking on her "CB" radio and was known as "Freebird". She enjoyed working with children and the Toys for Tots with the U.S. Marines. She loved everyone especially children, family and friends. Janet was dedicated to Scott Blvd. Baptist Church where she served as a Deacon and with the Care Ministry. She was preceded in death by her son, Rock Alan Rega, Sr. Survived by her loving husband, Raymond (Ray) Rega; son, Raymond C. Rega and wife, Rebecca; brother, Robert D. Hall and wife, Clara Mae; grandchildren, Jason S. Rega and wife, Sherri, Roxanne L. Arriaga and husband, Luis, Rock A. Rega, Jr., Casey O. Rega and wife, Feleasha and Douglas Foster Rega; great-grandchildren, Anthony & Autumn Laurenzo, Spencer, Hudson and Cain Rega; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner & Sons. A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
