Janice Alleyne Coye

Janice Alleyne Coye born 02/02/52, age 64, passed away on March 19th, in Atlanta, GA. She was the wife of Francis Coye, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Born in San Fernando, Trinidad, she was the daughter of Wallace Alleyne and Maudlin Moore. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of the West Indes in Jamaica, and added a Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University. She dedicated her life and career to helping others, and spent the last 28 years of her career as Executive Director of the Clayton County Alzheimer's Services Center. She was a member of Mountain West Church, and she enjoyed playing tennis, walking at Stone Mountain Park, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her concern for others, infectious kindness and compassion, love of life, and effervescent smile. She is survived by her spouse Francis, her sons Allan and Andrew, as well as her siblings Gloria, Lystra, Eddie, and Kevin. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10AM at Mountain West Church: 4818 Hugh Howell Rd, Tucker, GA 30087.
