Lady Janine Gamble, daughter of Marc Corbisier de Harbonnier de Cobreville and Mary de Kerckhove of Brussels, Belgium, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2008, in Sandy Springs, Georgia. She was born June 8, 1921 in Brussels (Ixelles), Belgium. She married Sir Frederick Herbert Gamble in Elizabethville, Belgian Congo, on June 15, 1942. Lady Gamble and her husband, Sir Herbert enjoyed four decades of service in the British Diplomatic Corps which included posts in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, South America, and the United States. She is survived by daughters, Ghislaine Lewis and Veronica Blanchard, five grandchildren, Brendan and Ryan Blanchard, Shannon Daniel, and Christopher and Philip Lewis, and five great grandchildren, Tyler and Samantha Blanchard, and Nicholas, Jonathan, and Jayden Daniel. Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at 10 AM on Monday November 10, 2008 in St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 675 Riverside Road, Roswell, Georgia 30075.
