Mrs. Jeannette Montgomery Sloan, age 93, of Atlanta, went home to be with the Lord, November 27, 2004 at A. G. Rhodes Nursing Home. Mrs. Sloan was a homemaker. Before she and her husband, Charles M. Sloan retired to Clearwater, FL., she had been an active member of Oakhurst Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and president of the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). Upon her husband's death, she moved back to Atlanta, where she joined Briarlake Baptist Church, and was a member of the Chapel Bible Class. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Bob Earnhardt, Atlanta; daughter-in-law, June Sloan, Laguna Beach, CA; grandson, Bobby Earnhardt and his wife, Terri; their three sons, Rob, Stefan, and Dylan, Lilburn, GA; grandson, Chuck Sloan and his wife, Caroline; and their two sons, Chase and Cannon, Laguna Hills, CA; granddaughter, Elizabeth Sloan, Aliso Viejo, CA; grandson, Jeff Earnhardt and his wife, Marion; and their daughter, Kylie Roswell, GA; sister, Mrs. Annette Bensley, Greenville, N.C.
