Jeanne Whitcraft Dent

Mrs. Jeanne W. Dent, 68, of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.  She worked for many years as a teacher within the DeKalb County School System and was a loving wife and mother, caring grandmother, and loyal friend. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew L. and Jennifer S. Dent; son, Jeffrey D. Dent; and four grandchildren, Lauren, Anna, Will and Catherine Dent.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons located at 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA on Tuesday, May 4 at 2:30 P.M with Rev. Betty Castellani officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at West Liberty United Methodist Church in White Hall, MD. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at A. S.
