Jeannett Harte

Mrs. Jeannette Harte of Atlanta died Saturday, October 27, 2007. She was a member of the Atlanta Garden Club. In high school she won the State Tennis Championship. Mrs. Harte was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and later Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Mary and was the last of seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, John H. (Jack) Harte and wife Joan of Dunwoody, David S. Harte and wife Nancy of Decatur; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Long of Savannah; six grandchildren, Steve Harte, James Harte, Susan Brunton, John Harte, IV, Julie Heath and Jane Barrett; and nine great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday with a Wake Service at 6:30 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons. (404) 292-1551
