Jennifer Kristie Silver Adamson of Dallas, GA jumped her last gate and rode into paradise on March 9, 2015. She died at home, surrounded by family. Jennifer was born in Tampa on October 12, 1969. She was the daughter of John and Natalie Lee Silver. She grew up in Tampa and Fort Myers, Florida. She developed a love and talent for playing the viola. She also loved horses and competed in Hunter Jumper competitions out of Windsprint Farm. Jen attended Fort Myers High School. She was Worthy Advisor of her Rainbow Assembly. She enjoyed water and the beaches and worked for several years at Cheeburger, Cheeburger on Sanibel Island plus one memorable month on a shrimp boat. When possible, she spent time at her grandparents' summer cottage in Maine. Jen moved to the Atlanta area after high school and worked at Sevenanda in Little Five Points. She married the love of her life, Scott Doran Adamson, in 2001 in a Medieval Wedding at the Abby in downtown Atlanta. She continued her education in computer technology and at the time of her passing was employed as IT by Nations Roofing in Douglasville. Jen was a free spirit, a loving wife, an energetic, fun-filled mother of two boys and a funny, spunky encourager to all her family and friends. Her last visit to Florida was to take her boys to see her Grampa Don in 2013. In spite of her illness, Jennifer continued working and going to play with the horses as long as possible. She was planning another trip to the beach. Jen fought a courageous 18 month battle and inspired us all with her bravery and feisty positivity. Jen was predeceased by her grandparents, Elmer and Mary Silver and Donald and Natalie Bullock. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by her loving husband, Scott Adamson, and her awesome sons, Doran Neo Adamson and Logan Silver Adamson ( all of Dallas, GA); by her parents, John and Lee Silver and sister, Heather O'Connell and niece Kayleigh O'Connell (all of Cape Coral, FL); by her Georgia family including her mother-in-law, Jody Doran of Lake Hartwell and step-mother in-law, Sally Adamson of Tifton; her sisters and brother in law, Laura Adamson of Cumming, Brad and Lisa Adamson of Acworth, Sandee Adamson of Gainesville and Michelle Wachob-Sealey (Fred) of Seneca, S.C. ; by her nieces and nephews, Shannon and Kris Clyburn of Austell, Brandy Connell of Acworth , Summer and Josh Clyburn of Jasper and Stacia Merry of Cumming.
