Jerome Carl "Jerry" Pavlin, 89, of Avondale Estates, beloved husband and father, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017. Born February 13, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late Andrew Joseph and Mary Frances Mayersak Pavlin. Jerry graduate from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. He was a hunter, a fisherman and a Canadian explorer. He owned his own bowling lanes, Mundelein Lanes, until his retirement in 1999.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carla Elaine Smith Pavlin; two sons, Andrew and Carl Pavlin; three daughters, Roshelle, Julie and Susan Pavlin; granddaughter, Skyla Pavlin; and many more loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Pavlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to a charity of your choice.
His services will be this Saturday, August 5, 3:30 with reception o follow, at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 2089 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, (404) 373-8338.
