Jerome Lucian “Jerry” McFarland, 62, of Dahlonega, died October 3, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. H. McFarland and Mary Terrell McFarland and is survived by his sister, Kathy McFarland Love of Grayson; several nieces and nephews. Mr. McFarland was a disabled veteran, having served his country in combat during the war in Vietnam. Mr. McFarland was cremated and a memorial service will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, October 28th, in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. His ashes will be buried at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 5th , at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. A. S. Turner and Sons.
