Jessie Jo Streetman

Jessie Jo Bowden Streetman, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 26, 2014 with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born in Phenix City, AL on August 22, 1928. Jessie is survived by her five children, Bill, Vicki, Harrell (Jan), Robert, and Beth; her eleven grandchildren, Kelly, Cayce, Blake, Cullen, Amanda, Jessica, Galin, Emily, Julia, Jinny, and Lauren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Jessie enjoyed nature, walking, golfing, gardening, piano, raising champion dachshunds, volunteering, rescuing animals, and spending time with her family. Her humor and her loving and adventurous spirit will be passed down for generations to come. She loved her family and encouraged them to live their lives to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an animal rescue organization. A visitation will be held one hour prior to her memorial service on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA.
