Justine S. Westbrook

Justine Sapp Westbrook, age 92 of Tucker, GA, passed away in her home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Born December 31, 1931 in Dublin, GA, Justine was the ninth of ten children. She is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her brother, Theron Sapp, daughters, Cindy Westbrook Gray (Jason), and Vicki Westbrook, son, Glenn Westbrook (Paula), 6 grandchildren, and 11 most beloved great grandchildren. Justine graduated from Tucker High School in 1950 where she excelled in sports and academics (except Home-Ec). She went on to attend Grady Nursing School and began her nursing career at Grady Hospital. She completed her nursing career at Georgia Baptist Hospital. Nursing was a huge part of Justine's life. She loved her family most of all. Her brothers and sisters were everything to her. She loved fishing, high school and college sports, and especially the Georgia Bulldogs. As she aged, her great grandchildren occupied a huge part of her heart. It was at Georgia Baptist that she met Barbara A., became a friend of Bill's, and spent 46 years of her life in service. Words cannot express how grateful we are to all the people who loved and respected our mom. She was a force, but it all came from a place of love. Rest easy, Mama. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033.
