Joan Elizabeth Diemer

Joan Elizabeth O'Brien Diemer of Decatur Georgia passed away on Friday October 30th at the age of 81. She was the daughter of the late William and Meta O'Brien and she was predeceased by her husband Raymond P. Diemer (1986).

Joan and Ray moved to Atlanta in 1970. Joan was involved in the Athletic Sports Carnival to raise money for Leukemia Research. She was well known in the community of Decatur Georgia for her love of sports and her big movie star glasses. She will be missed by her family, friends (OGM breakfast club) and her guard dog O'Brien.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial to celebrate Joan's life in the future will take place in Decatur, Georgia and Woodslee, Ontario.
