Mr. Findlan was born December 20, 1916 in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy on a mine sweeper as a lieutenant. After a long successful career in chemical sales, in retirement, Jack was a literacy volunteer, a Winship Cancer Institute volunteer, and a tireless advocate for the mentally disabled. He gave generously to the arts and other charitable organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corrine Hughes Findlan, and a son, John Roger Findlan. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Caudill and Noreen Storch; son, Lee Findlan; and grandchildren, Adam Richard Findlan, Carolyn Joy Helderman, Jenna Marie Scott, Kelly Corrine Caudill and Scott Storch.
