John Christopher (Johnny) Shikany

John Christopher Shikany (Johnny), 57 of Atlanta died Saturday, Feb. 2nd at his home. Johnny was the son of Abe and Maybelle Shikany, attended St. Pius X High School and graduated from Briarcliff High in 1969. Johnny was in the plant business his entire life. He loved taking care of his plants and there was very little he didn't know about them. Surviving are his daughter, Christa Shikany, granddaughter, Aliyah, his friend and caretaker, Linda Rudd Shikany, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Charlene Shikany, niece, Jessica Brumit, and nephew Charlie Shikany. Funeral services will be held at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2008 with Father John Azar officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM. Tuesday, February 5th with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons.
