John Crane Peteet, Iii

John Crane Peteet III, died on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the age of 56, after losing his battle with lung cancer.  He graduated from Druid Hills High school in 1970. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn M. Peteet; two daughters, Brittany Peteet and Leah Peteet; and a son, John L. Peteet; his nurturing mother, Nancy R. Pinner; and three loyal brothers, David, Stan and Robert Peteet.  His love for family and friends always made those around him enjoy his company. A passion for fishing led him to explore waters far and wide in search of the next big catch. He enjoyed reading about sports figures and history. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13th. www.asturner.com The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
