John Cremin Fayne, Sr.

John Cremin Fayne, 81, a resident of Decatur for the past 51 years,  passed away on January 10, 2005. He was a native of New York, grew up in Massachusetts, a veteran of World War II, and retired from Heidelberg Eastern, Inc. after 36 years. Mr. Fayne was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Edith Hughes Fayne of Commerce. He is survived by his son, John Fayne; daughter-in-law, Rene? Fayne; grandchildren, Erin and Paul; nieces and nephews in Georgia; and cousins in Ireland, New York and California. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of   A. S. Turner & Sons at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 13th. Graveside services will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce, GA at 2:30 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 12th at A. S. Turner & Sons.
