John Danielly Lee

John Danielly Lee Dan Lee, age 88, of Tucker, GA passed away peacefully on September 24, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 29, 1926 to Pierce Danielly and Vera Lorena (Howell) Lee. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty English Lee, the mother of his children, who passed away in April, 2000. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Betty Mayer Lee, who passed away on August 27, 2014. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. Dan worked as a Postal Inspector for the Federal Government for 40 years. He is survived by his children: Danella Lee Norton (Keith), Renee Fisher ( Larry), Danny Lee (Cookie), Tim Lee (Jane), Twyler Palmer (Trey), and seven grandchildren (Eric, Haylee, Katie, Harrison, Elizabeth, John Robert, Anslee, and Mason). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the charity of your choice.
