John David Ariail

J. David Ariail, Sr. of Decatur, Georgia passed away on May 24, 2023. He worked over thirty years for the United States Environmental Protection Agency as an Engineer. While working there, he became a specialist in several different fields and received five different recognitions from Washington. David was also a college referee, and after retirement, he continued with his activities of woodworking, refereeing soccer, gardening and helping with the Boy Scouts and earned the Silver Beaver Award.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ariail, his daughter Davilyn, son John (Bindu), brother Henry Lester Ariail, Jr. (Anne) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at A. S. Turner and Sons from 10 to 11 A.M., memorial service begins at 11 A.M. with a reception to follow.
