John Dero Audas, Jr

John Dero Audas Jr. (Jack), of Stone Mountain, GA passed away July 16, 2017. He was born on June 26, 1949, in Champaign, IL, the son of John Dero Audas and Lorraine Ann Hoffmann. Jack graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and worked for VIB Systems as General Manager for 40 years, retiring just last month. Mr. Audas is survived by his loving wife Kathy Audas, his devoted children Megan (Jay) Morell, Jeffrey (Katie) Audas, his 4 grandchildren John (4), Matthew (2), Parker (10mo), Caroline (10wk) who know him best as "Yo", and his sister Kathy (Richard) Hameister. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack had a great passion for his family, friends, and sports, especially NASCAR. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 20th at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home from 3-5 pm. The family will have a private ceremony to spread his ashes.
