John Edward Broderick

John Edward ?Brod? Broderick died Tuesday, January 15, 2008.   Mr. Broderick was a member of St Patrick?s Catholic Church, served in the US Army in WWII and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in the Army Reserve.  He retired from the Veterans Administration after 34 years and worked for the State of Georgia Veterans Affairs for five years. He is survived by his daughters, Judy Hollon of Montgomery, AL and Barbara L. Durrett of Monroe, GA; son, John J. Broderick of Lawrenceville, GA; two sisters, Irene Sherry of Gloucester, NJ and Rita Cohan of Voorhees, NJ; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Cyril Chae at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church at 11 AM Saturday, January 19, 2008.  Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
