Jack was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a Marist graduate, and a Georgia Tech loyalist. Jack was a chemist and former partner in Law & Company, an old Atlanta testing firm. From his teenage years until the mid 1960?s Jack worked a concession stand at the old Ponce de Leon Ball Park, home of the Atlanta Crackers.  Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Julia Anne Heckman Lynch, his daughter, Rea Queen and husband Larry, sons:  John Edward Lynch and wife Betty Anne, Charles Miller Lynch and wife Susan, Patrick Leo Lynch and wife Mary Beth; 9 grandchildren and 5(one on the way) great-grandchildren; his sister, Sister Margaret Lynch of St. Louis, Missouri, his brother Leo Charles Lynch and sister-in-law Elaine of Tampa, Florida.  He was preceded in death by: his son, Michael Joseph Lynch; his brothers: Father Patrick Miller Lynch, and Hugh Joseph Lynch and his sister, Frances Anne Lynch Murphy.  His family prayerfully and gratefully thanks God for Jack?s long and good life.
