John Warren Orr

Mr. John Warren Orr, 61, of Stone Mountain, died Saturday, February 27, 2010.  A native of Atlanta, Mr. Orr was a 1968 graduate of Fulton High School.  He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Orr was the owner of J & N Trucking Company.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Orr of Stone Mountain; son, Chad Orr, son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Shirley Orr, all of Ellijay; step-daughter and her husband, Michelle and John Stephens of Gainesville; step-son, Clint Johnson of Stone Mountain; nine grandchildren; and brother, Lamar Orr of Forest Park. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating.  Interment, Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 11:45 P.M. until 12:45 P. M. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
