Johnny Paul Mcleod

Johnny Paul McLeod, age 78, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 with his children by his side. Johnny was born on April 26, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Gerelda and Barnie Duma McLeod. He lived his entire life in the Stone Mountain area. Johnny was preceded in death by Glenda, his loving wife of 52 years. Johnny worked as an electrician at both Egleston Children's Hospital and Georgia Perimeter College where he retired from.

He is survived by his three children, daughter Kellie McLeod Dorsett (Chris) of Decatur, son Kyle McLeod (Katie) of Marietta, daughter Kim McLeod of Stone Mountain and two grandchildren Connor and Rylan McLeod (Kyle).

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather "Pop", brother, uncle and friend. Johnny was known for his love of family, his quick wit, vast knowledge of cars and his incredible memory. He never met a stranger and was an amazing storyteller. He loved his homestead in which he lived for over 70 + years. He was an avid gardener and a jack of all trades. He could fix just about anything.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
