Parents, Mozelle P. and Norman B. Green, Sr., announce the sudden and tragic death of their son, Joseph Dean Green on February 5, 2010. Dean is survived by his sister, Norma Green; brothers: Norman B., Jr., Bryan and Kevin Contardi, and their families. Other relatives include Ms. Clara Green; Mrs. Roberta Green Sims; Quenton, Lora, and Phil Pittman and their families. Dean graduated from Lakeside High School as a state champion football player, and then attended Samford University graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy. There he was Warden of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and President of the Interfraternity Council. He has been a faithful and long-term member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta for about 35 years with recent involvement in some of their mission projects. He has also given financial support to two of his favorite local ministries: the Atlanta Pregnancy Resource Center, Tucker and Eagle Ranch in Chestnut Mountain. Professionally, Dean served as a leading Pharmacy Manager with several national retail companies working in the Northlake and Toco Hills areas. Dean was also pursuing his passion as a Real Estate Investor and Residential Builder. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Dean’s family, friends, and associates are all welcome to attend. A.
