Mr. Joseph “Eddie” Fort, age 65, of Tucker, GA died Tuesday, August 17, 2010. He was a graduate of Tucker High School and a member of Tucker First United Methodist Church. He retired in 1999 from General Motors Corporation after 33 years of service. He is survived by his daughter, April Evans of Tucker, GA; son, Jimmy Fort of Clayton, GA; sister, Linda Fort of Conyers, GA; brother, Terry Fort of Tucker, GA; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 21, 2010 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Jimmy Moor officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M. at A S. Turner & Sons.
