Mr. Joseph Victor Llorens, 88, of Stockbridge died Monday, June 29, 2009. He was born in Atlanta and raised in Grant Park. Mr. Llorens served his country during World War II in the U. S. Navy. He was decorated for his participation in the invasion of Palau, Angar, Okinawa and Iwo Jima. After his military service, Mr. Llorens joined his father in the family business, Llorens Stained Glass. He later became the owner and artist for the world renowned stained glass company. Mr. Llorens belonged to Rotary and the pilot’s club, “QB”. He is survived by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of the Pines at Floral Hills at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, Rev. Len Strozier officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1at A. S. Turner & Sons.
