Josephine Marie Dogali

Josephine (Jo) Marie Dogali passed away peacefully, with her family in attendance, on March 22, 2018 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Jo Marie was born on October 25, 1949 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Catherine and Tony Dogali. She attended Notre Dame Girls High School and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut where she also obtained her law degree. She successfully practiced corporate law at the Hartford and Aetna Insurance companies. Jo Marie experienced significant medical problems throughout her life but always dealt with adversity with hope, courage, and perseverance. Jo was positive, regardless of the severity of the issue, made the best of any situation and led a fruitful and loving life. She was active in her community and a fierce fighter and advocate for what she believed. In recent years she was deeply involved in the lives of her two granddaughters who brought her great joy and pleasure. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Anthony Lemieux, his wife Celine and their daughters, Lucienne and Vivienne, her brother Michael Dogali, his wife Kathy, nephews, Michael Anthony and Matthew Angus Dogali. She was also loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of the Dogali and Pinto families, along with her many friends. Memorial services will be held at a future date in Decatur, GA. and in Newport Beach, CA. on July 7, 2018 where her cousin, the Reverend Father Michael Dogali will perform a requiem mass. Jo Marie will be interred with her parents in Newport Beach.
