Judith Mae Kowal

Judith Mae Kowal’s heart was full of love, laughter, compassion and giving. She lived each day serving God, thinking of others, caring for her family and finding joy in the smallest moments. A wife of more than 50 years to Stan Kowal and a mother to Jennifer Kowal and Melanie De Gennaro, she created a home filled with love and peace. From childhood, she loved animals and was drawn to the water. She spent her summers as a youth at the lake, and enjoyed beach vacations with her family and cruises with Stan and her childhood friend Charlene Crosier. At the beach, she would rise early and walk the quiet shore in search of seashells. She adored her four-year-old granddaughter Sveva, Melanie’s child, and felt immense joy when Jennifer married Tony Burdett in 2016.

Judy always placed the needs of others first, made friends with ease, laughed often, enjoyed something sweet and touched the lives of countless people. Her family and friends mourn her loss, but are immensely grateful for the time they shared together. At Judy’s request, there will be no memorial service. May we all celebrate her memory and enjoy and cherish the precious moments in life.
