Judy Hayes

Judy Hayes, of Lithonia, GA, passed away on December 7, 2011. She was the creator and owner of Our Crafts 4 U. She had been sewing and creating crafts and dolls for over 40 years. Judy had received various awards from the Maryland State Fair and numerous other community recognition awards. Our Crafts 4 U, was created in 2001 after a year planning and selling her very popular "Rabbits" doll collection. These dolls are created from quality hypoallergenic materials and 100% hand crafted. Judy was a member of the Pine Lake Baptist Church in Pine Lake, GA where she and her husband headed up the Baptismal Committee. They were responsible for assisting the pastors for Baptism. She and John witnessed the saving of many souls for Christ first hand. Judy Hayes was a graduated of Kenwood High School in Baltimore, MD. She was married to Dr. John D. Hayes for 40 years. She is survived by her son Thomas, her daughters, Grace, Janice and Dianne. She is the grandmother of three. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Pine Lake Baptist Church. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
