She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the last surviving child of Frances and Jesse Goins and enjoyed her role as matriarch of the family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Swanson, and their son, Charles F. Swanson. She is survived by two children, James B. Swanson and Julie Woodall, and their spouses, Susan Swanson, and Darrell Woodall; four grandchildren, Jenny Saluti and husband Andrew, Cynthia Swanson, James Woodall, and Charles Woodall; two great–grandchildren, Kate and Benjamin Saluti, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
