Julian B. (Red) Holliday, age 92, of Decatur, GA passed away at Emory University Hospital, January 3, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn J. Holliday. Red was a longtime member and worker at Clairmont Presbyterian Church, and an avid cook once featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution at age 89. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Anne Bennett; grandsons, Andy Bennett, Greg Bennett and wife Mary; great grandchildren, Anthony, Sydney and Colin Bennett; niece, June Mitchell of Greensboro, GA; and nephew, Chad Holliday of Wilmington, DE. A memorial service will be held at Clairmont Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Friday with burial of his ashes at Floral Hills Memory Gardens immediately following the service. Dr. Tom Pipkin and Rev. Brint Keyes will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Clairmont Presbyterian Church, 1994 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
