June Blankenship

June Blankenship, age 94, of Decatur passed away peacefully on January 21, 2014. She was an Administrative Assistant for Mission To The World before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Blankenship and also a daughter, Rebecca. Surviving are 3 children Peter (Toni) Blankenship, Jessica Arthur, Johnny (Laura) Blankenship, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother J.D. Bridwell (Mary Francis) and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received Thursday, January 23 from 4-7 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to: Mission To The World, 1600 N. Brown Rd.
