June G. Kallenberg, age 77, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005. She was a graduate of Shorter College. She enjoyed many years of marriage with her husband, William G. Kallenberg, who preceded her in death. They shared their lives in Union City, Tennessee in the early years of their marriage. They later moved to Avondale Estates, GA and then on to Panama City, Florida. June had recently returned to the Atlanta area to be with her children, William G. Kallenberg, Jr., Betsy K. Johns, and E. Parke Kallenberg and his wife, Bonnie J. Kallenberg. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Graham Jones and his wife Lori Jones, Casey Kallenberg, and Corey Kallenberg. June had many talents and hobbies, but was primarily known for two specific gifts. She achieved the Gold Life Master Duplicate Bridge title. She also played the piano and sang for many years including USO performances, church and school shows, and performances at the Boars Head Restaurant in Panama City, Florida. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. J. Truett Gannon officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
