Katherine Watkins

Mrs. Katherine Jones Watkins, 90, retired business owner, died on June 2, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, June 7th, from 6:00-8:00pm, at A. S. Turner and Sons in Decatur, GA. A memorial service will be held at Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA, on Sat, June 8th, at 1:00pm, reception following. Born in MS, she worked at the War Dept (Pentagon) during WW II. She married in Dec, 1950, and moved to GA in 1956, where she raised her family. Mrs. Watkins owned and managed a specialty adhesives distributorship before retiring and turning the business over to the next generation. She was an active and faithful member of Clairmont Presbyterian Church for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Watkins. She is survived by her son, Robert M Watkins, daughter Margaret E Watkins, nephews and niece James V Jones, Beth Cernell, John Watkins, Lee S Jones, Jr, their families, and many friends. A. S.
